Meet Allison Hageman

Allison Hageman is a D.C. based writer who has been covering lifestyle topics for nearly a decade. From restaurants, art, museums, pop culture, and more, she feels at home writing about the creative movers and shakers. Previously, she interned for Out & About Magazine, Capitol Standard, D.C. Fray Magazine, and the Alexandria Times. Her work has also appeared in Delaware Today, DCist, and Washington City Paper. Allison is the social media and communications associate at Long Story Short Media. She spent two years as a digital content producer at NBC Washington, where she helped run the digital platforms of a leading local news station. In the summer of 2024, she joined NBC Olympics as a digital affiliate editor for their Sports Emmy-winning coverage of the Paris Games. Before NBC, she worked as the integrated marketing coordinator for the in-person return of the 2022 National Cherry Blossom Festival.
